Non-Aligned Utopias

From November 17, 2018 to March 17, 2019, the ZKM Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, in collaboration with Ker Thiossane (Dakar), Fak'ugesi, and Wits Art Museum (Johannesburg), presented an exhibition dedicated to digital practices and emerging imaginaries across the African continent. In this podcast, curator Oulimata Gueye reflects on her journey, the stakes of the exhibition, and the resurgence of science fiction in contemporary artistic and cultural practices.
